1. Who processes your data?

Amro Style, Peppelweg 76A, 3053 GN Rotterdam, is responsible for processing personal data in its own salon administration and through this website. For privacy questions or requests: info@amrostyle.nl or 06 86494111.

2. Data and purposes

For a direct appointment, we process your name, email address, phone number, selected treatments, barber, date, time, price and payment status. This is needed to fulfil your appointment, contact you and send confirmations or reminders. Any appointment note is visible to authorised salon staff; do not include medical or other sensitive data.

When you book, we store your agreement to the terms, their text and version, and the time of your agreement. We use this to fulfil the appointment and, on the basis of our legitimate interest, to substantiate agreements and any disputes.

Your date of birth is optional and intended for a birthday gift. Gift and feedback messages by email or SMS are sent on the basis of your separate consent. This consent is not required to book, and you can unsubscribe through the message or contact us.

If you join the waiting list, we use your contact details and treatment preference to approach you about a suitable available appointment. Joining the waiting list is not consent to marketing.

3. Legal bases

For bookings and appointment communications, the legal basis is entering into and performing the contract. For statutory record-keeping requirements, we rely on a legal obligation. For security, fraud prevention and substantiating agreements, we rely on a legitimate interest, with due regard for your privacy. For optional gift and feedback messages, we rely on consent, which you can withdraw.

4. Who receives data?

Authorised staff have access insofar as necessary for their work. We use hosting and database services for the website and salon administration, and email or SMS providers for messages. They may only process data for their service and according to the applicable agreements.

For an online payment in our own booking module, Mollie processes the payment according to its own privacy notice. We store the payment reference and status, not your full card details or bank login credentials.

If you book through Treatwell or open Google Maps, you leave our website and that provider processes data according to its own privacy notice. Data we receive from a booking platform is used for the salon appointment and administration.

We do not sell your personal data. If a supplier processes data outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards required by law must apply. Contact us for information about suppliers and applicable safeguards.

5. Retention and security

We keep data for as long as needed for appointments, customer contact, substantiating agreements and handling complaints or disputes. Statutory tax records generally have a seven-year retention period; this does not mean all customer data is needed for seven years.

We use marketing consent until you withdraw it. Proof of consent or unsubscribing may remain necessary to respect your choice and demonstrate compliance. You can ask what data we keep about you and why.

The salon administration uses restricted permissions and secure access. The software does not automatically delete customer profiles after a fixed period; requests for deletion or restriction are assessed and carried out by the salon, taking statutory obligations into account.

6. Cookies

This website uses essential cookies for secure administration access and, for a direct online payment, access to your booking’s payment status. This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. External websites such as Treatwell have their own cookie policies.

7. Your privacy rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your data, and object to processing where applicable. You can also withdraw consent; processing that was lawful before withdrawal remains lawful. Email info@amrostyle.nl. We may request information to verify your identity securely, but do not request or send a full copy of your ID unnecessarily.

We generally respond within one month. If a request is complex and requires more time, we will let you know within that period. You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
